  • Camping Spaces: Each space accommodates one vehicle.

  • Glamping Tents & Cabin Rooms: Each allows one vehicle to park on festival grounds.

  • Vehicle Entry Times:

    • Thursday, September 5th: 4p-9p

    • Friday, September 6th: 10a-2p

    • Saturday, September 7th: 10a-2p

After these times, entry to the festival grounds is by shuttle only.

Guidance for NEON PRAIRIE
No Trace Camping & Glamping

The Neon Prairie Festival strives to implement Leave No Trace principles and practices while camping at the festival with a foundation based on respect for the natural habitat and our fellow wildland residents. To follow our P.R.A.I.R.I.E. principle of Remember the land we encourage the following guidelines.

  • Plan and Prepare: 

    1. Be aware of the concerns and impact you can control within the ecosystem you are camping in.

    2. Be ready for extremes both for weather and emergencies.

    3. Repackage food and any items to minimize waste.

  • No Trace Practice

    1. Pack in Pack out is the preferred action. There will be both refuse and recycling opportunities while attending the festival.

    2. If cleaning camping materials and equipment, carry water away from natural waterways and please use biodegradable soap.

  • Leave what you Find:

    1. Preserve the past and be thoughtful of any cultural or historic structures or artifacts at the festival.

    2. Leave natural elements such as rocks, plants, and other objects as you find them.

    3. Do not build structures, furniture, or dig trenches from materials found on location at the campsites or anywhere on festival grounds.

  • Respect Wildlife and be considerate to fellow campers:

    1. Observe wildlife from a distance while camping, do not chase or follow them.  Never feed an animal and protect them by storing your food and trash securely.

    2. Protect the quality of others' experience, be courteous and late at night let nature's music prevail and try to avoid excessively loud voices and noises.

(Ticketing options: 200 camping spots available for now. 40 Glamping tents. 18 lodge  Rooms and 5 cabins)

  • No.  Camping spots can have 4 people but camping combos only come with 1 festival ticket and add-on camping spaces come with no extra tickets.  Everyone camping must have a festival wristband.  All Glamping and Cabin combos come with all festival tickets.

  • Onsite festival camping is only allowed for festival goers who are camping, glamping, or staying in our cabins.  For festival safety vehicle entry is only allowed Thursday 4 pm – 10 pm, Friday 10 am – 2 pm, and Saturday 10 am – 2 pm.  No Re-entry.

  • If you arrive after vehicle entry times you can park at any shuttle location and shuttle to the festival.

  • You can bring one vehicle per camping space and the vehicle must park in your camping space.  You may also park at the shuttle locations and take a shuttle to the festival grounds.  There will be some wagons available at the welcome info tent to help haul luggage and equipment if taking the shuttle.  Glamping and Cabins will have 1 parking spot allotted per tent or room.

  • NO glass NO pyro stuff (No tiki torches, fireworks or the like)

  • No Firepits.  Small camping stoves or grills that use a fuel like propane are allowed.

  • You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into campgrounds. Campers who are over 21 may bring alcohol.  We are limiting alcohol to up to three items of either cases of beer, boxes of wine, or bottles of liquor per campsite.

  • Yes! We encourage you to bring refillable water bottles, as there will be refilling stations in all the campgrounds.

  • Yes

  • Yes, there will be an area reserved for family and quiet camping.  This will be next to general camping.

  • Yes, Quiet hours are from 4 am to 8 am every night.

  • You can bring the RV but you will need to purchase and additional camping space.

  • There will be port-a-potties at the camping and glamping areas. Showers will be available for purchase.

  • Power is not provided for campers. Please plan accordingly. Glamping will have limited power.

  • No, there won’t be any waste dumps or water hookups available for RVs. Please plan accordingly.

  • There will be minimal security at the campgrounds. Place valuables and other property in a secure container and out of site.  There is a security and help tent at the entry to the camping area.
